Brexit planning

Following the UK referendum in 2016 we commenced our Brexit planning, developing a range of strategies to mitigate the potential impact, for us and our clients, of cross border activity when moving data.

With the current Brexit deal rejected, we are reviewing these plans to ensure that we have appropriate structures, contractual clauses and services in place to ensure that our clients remain compliant with GDPR and Market Abuse Regulations.

Our preference, at this time, is to retain all data within our UK data centres however, if required and if it is the best option for our clients based outside of the UK, we have plans in place to hold data and provide services from within the EU.

We will be communicating directly with our non-UK clients and we will publish a further update across all our communication channels.
