Insidertrack — New Features and Services
Insidertrack App
In the previous issue of on/track, we launched the new Insidertrack App. We are now pleased to announce that we will be implementing clients onto the App in the New Year!
The App is available now to license as an add-on to the existing Insider portal or on its own (alongside the back-office administration system).
By using the App your Insiders will be able to view and complete a multitude of actions including keeping track of their list memberships, acknowledging their obligations under MAR, requesting clearance to deal, and perusing FAQ’s and closed period information.
Analysis of user statistics reveals that it takes on average 2–3 days for insiders to acknowledge their responsibilities when added to a project.
We believe that response times can be reduced significantly if push messages are sent directly to Insiders mobile devices.
The Company Secretariat will also be able to use the App to approve dealing requests and streamline their clearance processes.
Some of the key features of the App are:
Messaging

- On-the-go acknowledgement of responsibilities under MAR

- Receive tasks and chasers set by you

Dealing Requests
- Submission of consent to deal requests
- Full request history available to view
- Expiry display via the handy home screen countdown
- Submission of post trade information
The App will also give Company Secretaries the ability to approve dealing requests quickly on the move.
Provider Notification Functionality
Notifying Share Plan, and other, providers of Insider or Clearance list additions/removals can be a burdensome administrative process. Insidertrack’s new ‘Provider Notification Functionality’ has been specifically developed to help reduce the amount of work involved in this task and the risk of your providers trading for an individual with Inside Information.
The new functionality is due for release in Q1 2021 and will enable the system to send an automated notification of list changes to your providers at a frequency determined by you. You will have full control over which provider is notified and whether a full trading block or just a clearance flag is to be applied. The provider will be able to download a report containing the relevant changes and acknowledge via Insidertrack that they have successfully updated the relevant accounts on their systems.

- Set an agreed password per provider
- Obtain provider acknowledgement
- Full auditable history of update requests

In December 2020 we are launching the Insidertrack User Academy for our Insidertrack clients and will be hosting two free to attend Webinars each month.
Insidertrack Pro Webinars’
Whilst Insidertrack is an intuitive and easy to use system, we want to make sure our clients are making the most out of it and are aware of all new and existing features. The ‘Insidertrack Pro’ Webinar will take a deep dive on one or two specific areas each month, covering topics such as Data Import, Enhanced Email, Dealing Requests and Message Templates.

New User Webinars’
