Cytec retain FSQS accreditation for seventh year running
Cytec have successfully retained our Financial Supplier Qualification System (FSQS) accreditation. First awarded to us in 2019, we’ve retained the certificate for our seventh year running. The FSQS certification complements our long-standing ISO27001 compliance, and our sustainability credentials, independently assessed by EcoVadis.
At Cytec, we understand that trust, security, and compliance are imperative when working with highly regulated organisations. The FSQS accreditation is more than just a certification, it’s a benchmark that recognises suppliers who meet the most rigorous standards in governance, risk, and compliance.
For our valued clients, FSQS offers peace of mind. It means that Cytec has been independently assessed and approved across critical areas such as information security, data protection, risk management, ESG, and operational resilience. The certification operates on an invite-only basis by Hellios, meaning that when we talk about valuing the information and data security of our clients, it’s backed up by independent recognition.
The benefits of our FSQS certificate to existing and future clients
Simplified procurement
The FSQS accreditation pre-qualifies us, meaning that onboarding with us is faster, easier, and less resource intensive.
Assured compliance
Companies that choose to work with us can be confident that we meet strict requirements about GDPR, financial crime prevention, and data security.
Trust and credibility
The accreditation provides an extra layer of reassurance for boards, procurement teams, and regulators.
For the team at Cytec, this award isn’t something just to put on our website, it’s confirmation that our commitment to making compliance effortless for our clients is succeeding. By continuing to maintain this standard, we ensure that our technology and our partnerships are built on resilience, transparency, and trust.
Julian Foster, Chief Technology Officer, Comments:
““This is now our seventh consecutive year holding FSQS accreditation, showing that we maintain compliance standards year-after-year even as regulations evolve and expectations rise. For our clients, it means they can trust that our platforms are built on secure and resilient technology, supported by processes that stand up to rigorous independent scrutiny.
The accreditation validates the work our teams put in behind the scenes every day to protect data, reduce risk, and deliver solutions our clients can depend on.”
About the FSQS accreditation
The FSQS is a recognised standard for vendors working with banks, insurers, investment services, and other regulated sectors. Managed by Hellios Information, FSQS provides a centralised process for demonstrating compliance with strict regulatory and security requirements.
By holding FSQS accreditation, suppliers added to a community of pre-qualified organisations trusted by leading financial institutions and public sector bodies. This streamlines procurement processes and provides assurance to buyers that accredited companies meet the highest standards of governance and risk management.
